I'm the founder of ComplianceOS. I didn't start out to build a compliance company — I was building products of my own. When enterprise customers and partners started asking for SOC 2 and other compliance certifications, I ran into the wall that stops so many founders cold: the cost.
Getting audit-ready traditionally means tens of thousands of dollars in tooling, consultants, and hidden fees — before you've closed a single deal that required it. For a bootstrapped or early-stage founder, that's not a line item. That's the whole seed round.
